The Sacramento Office of DTR Consulting Services, Inc. (DTR) is seeking a building envelope (enclosure), field technician, to conduct site observations and assist in investigations of building envelope components. Candidate to have a minimum of 3 years of field experience in a similar position.
Position includes inspection & installation oversight of below-grade waterproofing, roofing, masonry, flashings, EIFS/plaster, deck waterproofing/coatings, rain screens, tank liners, weather vapor barriers, and window framing assemblies for medium-to-large scale residential, institutional, and commercial projects. Applicants must have the ability to clearly understand construction drawings and specifications, and document field observations in written field reports. Individuals must have a good driving record and a reliable personal vehicle and be willing to travel. DTR will provide initial training in our methods of operation, but candidates must have solid demonstrated knowledge of building construction and prior field experience with a similar consulting firm.
